How to vote in Kenya

Voting is a very easy process in Kenya.
Get to your respective polling station on the election date between 6.00AM and 5.00PM
Carry with you Kenyan Identity Card or Passport
At the polling station,IEBC officials will use your ID/PASSPORT to verify if you are a registered voter.
IEBC official then issues you with 6 ballot papers i.e that of president, governor, member of parliament, women representative, senator, and member of county assembly.Ballot papers are printed on special paper or feature an official mark or number to combat fraud.
Take the ballot paper to one of the booths, which are screened to ensure secrecy.
Each polling booth should include sharpened pens, attached to string long enough to accommodate both right and left-handed voters. Read the ballot paper carefully before you vote.
Put an X or Tick in the box next to the name of the person you want to vote for. If you mark any more boxes, your paper will be invalid.
Fold the ballot paper so others cannot see your choice and post it in the respective ballot box.An IEBC official will be there to guide you through.
Finally you finger has to be marked with ink to show you have already voted.
Go home and wait for the tallying process and final results from the IEBC.
